Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before renting a dumpster from Owensboro Dumpster Co or using our website. By placing a rental order or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

Rental Agreement

By booking a dumpster rental with Owensboro Dumpster Co — whether by phone, online form, or any other method — you enter into a binding rental agreement governed by these Terms & Conditions.

Rental Period

Standard rentals include a 7-day rental period beginning on the date of delivery. Your rental period ends at the close of business on day 7 unless an extension has been arranged.

Extensions

Rental extensions are available at a daily rate. To arrange an extension, you must contact Owensboro Dumpster Co before your rental period expires. Extensions requested after the rental period ends may be subject to additional fees.

Early Pickup

If you wish to schedule pickup before your rental period ends, contact us directly. Early pickup does not entitle you to a partial refund of your rental fee.

Pricing & Payment

Quoted Price

All prices quoted by Owensboro Dumpster Co are flat-rate and include delivery, the standard rental period, your included weight allowance, pickup, and disposal fees, unless otherwise specified at the time of booking.

Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of booking or delivery as agreed upon during the reservation process. We accept [PAYMENT METHODS — cash, card, etc.]. Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of your rental order.

Additional Charges

The following situations may result in additional charges beyond your quoted price:

Weight overage: Exceeding your included weight allowance will result in a per-ton overage fee. The overage rate will be communicated at the time of booking.
Extended rental days: Each day beyond your standard rental period is charged at the applicable daily extension rate.
Prohibited items: Loading prohibited materials into the dumpster may result in additional disposal fees.
Failed pickup or delivery: If our driver cannot access your property due to blockage, locked access, or other preventable circumstances, a trip charge may apply.
Damage to equipment: Any damage to our dumpster caused by misuse, overloading, or prohibited items may result in repair or replacement charges.

Refunds & Cancellations

Cancellations made 24 hours or more before scheduled delivery are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before delivery may be subject to a cancellation fee. Once a dumpster has been delivered, no refund will be issued for the base rental fee.

Dumpster Placement

Customer Responsibility

You are responsible for designating a safe, accessible, and legally permissible placement location for the dumpster at your Owensboro or Daviess County property.

Private Property

Placement on private property, such as a driveway or private parking lot, is your responsibility to authorize. You confirm that you have the legal right to place a dumpster at the designated location.

Public Street Placement

If placement on a public street is required, you are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits from the City of Owensboro or Daviess County before delivery. Owensboro Dumpster Co is not responsible for fines, penalties, or citations resulting from unpermitted street placement.

Property Damage

Owensboro Dumpster Co takes reasonable precautions, including the use of protective boards, to minimize surface damage during delivery and pickup. However, we are not liable for minor surface marks, cracks, or impressions that may result from dumpster placement on driveways, pavement, or ground surfaces, particularly on older or weakened surfaces.

Access Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring clear truck access to the delivery location. Our delivery trucks require adequate clearance, typically a minimum of 60 feet of clear approach space and sufficient overhead clearance. If our driver cannot safely access or exit the delivery location, a trip charge may apply.

Acceptable Use

Permitted Materials

Our dumpsters accept the following general categories of waste:

Household junk and furniture
Construction and renovation debris
Roofing materials
Yard waste and landscaping debris
Flooring materials
General cleanout debris

Prohibited Materials

The following items are strictly prohibited from our dumpsters. Loading prohibited materials may result in additional fees, legal liability, and forfeiture of your rental agreement:

Hazardous waste, paint, solvents, chemicals, pesticides, herbicides
Asbestos-containing materials
Medical or biohazardous waste
Automotive fluids, batteries, and tires
Propane tanks and pressurized cylinders
Electronics (in large quantities, contact us for guidance)
Liquid waste of any kind
Radioactive materials
Any material prohibited under Kentucky state or federal environmental regulations

You are solely responsible for ensuring that prohibited materials are not loaded into our dumpsters. Any fines, penalties, or disposal costs resulting from prohibited materials will be charged to the customer.

Weight Limits

Every dumpster has a maximum weight allowance communicated at the time of booking. Exceeding the weight limit results in overage fees as described in Section 3.3. You are responsible for monitoring the weight of materials loaded into the container.

Fill Line

Dumpsters must not be loaded above the designated fill line. Overfilled containers cannot be legally transported under Kentucky transportation regulations. If our driver arrives for pickup and the container is overfilled, pickup will be delayed until excess materials are removed. Additional fees may apply.

Customer Responsibilities

By renting from Owensboro Dumpster Co, you agree to:

Provide accurate delivery address and project information at the time of booking
Ensure clear and safe truck access to the delivery location
Load only permitted materials into the dumpster
Keep the dumpster within the agreed placement location for the duration of the rental
Not move, relocate, or tamper with the dumpster or its contents
Not allow unauthorized third parties to use your rented dumpster
Contact us promptly if any issues arise during your rental period

Our Responsibilities

Owensboro Dumpster Co agrees to:

Deliver your dumpster to the agreed location within the confirmed delivery window
Provide a clean, structurally sound container of the agreed size
Pick up the dumpster within a reasonable timeframe after your rental period ends or pickup is requested
Handle disposal of your debris at a licensed Kentucky disposal facility
Communicate any issues or changes to your rental promptly

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Kentucky law, Owensboro Dumpster Co’s total liability for any claim arising from a rental transaction shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for that specific rental.

We are not liable for:

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of business, income, or profits arising from rental delays
Damage to underground utilities, pipes, or infrastructure not disclosed prior to delivery
Weather-related delays beyond our reasonable control

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Owensboro Dumpster Co, its owners, employees, and drivers from any claims, damages, fines, penalties, or expenses arising from:

Your loading of prohibited materials
Unauthorized placement of the dumpster
Failure to obtain required permits
Misuse of the rented equipment
Any injury or property damage caused by your improper use of the dumpster.

Force Majeure

Owensboro Dumpster Co is not liable for delays or failures in service caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather events, natural disasters, road closures, equipment failure, or government restrictions.

In such cases, we will communicate delays promptly and reschedule delivery or pickup as soon as conditions permit.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Any disputes arising from these terms or your rental agreement shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Daviess County, Kentucky.

Changes to These Terms

Owensboro Dumpster Co reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable. All other provisions remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with any rental confirmation provided at the time of booking, constitute the entire agreement between you and Owensboro Dumpster Co regarding your dumpster rental. They supersede any prior communications, representations, or agreements.
